Ethereum Price Action: Huge Crypto Whale Moves 20,000 ETH Onto Bitfinex

Crypto traders are following the tracks of an early investor in Ethereum who may have decided it’s time to sell.

The investor has transferred 20,000 Ether bought during the coin’s ICO onto Bitfinex. The coins are now worth about $5,600,000, based on the current price on CoinMarketCap.

The tx hash is 0x976FD26BC177542C3aDE3aA28b374f866E7ddE4B.

This isn’t the first time the whale has moved funds onto Bitfinex. Back in May, 116,000 Ether was moved onto Bitfinex from that same wallet which still has 104,487 ETH worth more than $29 million.

The transaction was first spotted by Zoe Dolan, who watches wallets that were generated during Ethereum’s ICO.

In the meantime, Ethereum’s price continues to move sideways, as it has for the last 10 days or so.

The price of ETH is currently at $280.25.
